Dance District
This is the first long-term initiative of our organization. It began in 2012 and is still going on strong.
It started having in mind activities that will improve the Romanian dance scene, such as dance performances, urban choreographic interventions, workshops for children and adults, and it evolved into a platform with a multidisciplinary content and openness to innovation and experimentation.

It started having in mind activities that will improve the Romanian dance scene, such as dance performances, urban choreographic interventions, workshops for children and adults, and it evolved into a platform with a multidisciplinary content and openness to innovation and experimentation.
Today, the program has also a social component, as it promotes diversity and inclusion of children with disadvantaged backgrounds and with a low access to contemporary arts.
Dance District includes a wide array of activities: building an interactive system for dance education & research; improving the distribution of Romanian dance production; international mobility for dancers and choreographers; audience development.
